My research interests focus on partnerships across the life course and how they are related to physical health and wellbeing at mid to later life. I am particularly interested in exploring the health and wellbeing of those who are married compared to those who are cohabiting or unpartnered. Another strand of my research focusses on the childhood environment and adult mental wellbeing, including how parental relationships in childhood are associated with wellbeing later on in the life course.
