I am undertaking a four-year PhD programme in Mental Health funded by the MRC. I am supervised by Dr James Kirkbride and Professor Robert Howard at the Division of Psychiatry, UCL. My PhD focuses on the epidemiology of very late-onset psychotic disorders, which first present after age 60. I am particularly interested in psychosocial risk factors for psychotic disorders, including migration, trauma, social isolation and impairments in social cognition.
